ABOUT THE INSTALLATION

ABOUT THE INSTALLATION

In December 2014, colorful, lively artwork by the collective assume vivid astro focus (avaf) was installed in the waiting area of La Clínica del Barrio at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. The artwork brings a burst of color and energy to the clinic’s space, offering a visual feast that eases the stress and tension often associated with hospital waiting rooms. With its dynamic presence, avaf's work becomes an immersive environment where children can let their minds roam freely and indulge in their imaginations.

This project was made possible through the generous support of Glori Cohen.
